Quote pricing refers only to artwork that meets the following specifications. Please check all artwork for the following to avoid delays and/or additional charges.
Artwork Checklist
- Please check all artwork for the following to avoid delays and/or additional charges
- Files to be supplied in an acceptable format (see below)
- All fonts are either embedded or converted to paths/outlines
- When supplying artwork from vector based applications (Illustrator, Corel), make sure all images are imbedded
- All content has been produced in CYMK format
- Doctor Disk will not take responsibility for colour accuracy for files supplied in other formats (RGB or Pantone)
- All images are supplied at 300dpi or above, at size (eg: 120mm x 120mm at 300dpi for a CD/DVD)
- Artwork can be supplied on CD, DVD, Floppy Disk, Zip Disk, USB Drives or contact us to discuss emailing your artwork
Artwork Size
- All artwork should be done to the correct size. CD label' should be in a 120mm x 120mm document, NOT on an A4 document.
- CD / DVD Label': diameter 120mm ~ Artwork should be set up on a 120mm x 120mm document
- Be sure to allow for a non-printable area of diameter = 40mm in center
- Jewel case / Slim-line Case Insert: 120mm x 120mm document with 2.5mm bleed, include all trim marks
Artwork Formats
- The preferred artwork format for all jobs is an Adobe Acrobat PDF
- The following artwork formats are also acceptable: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Corel, and Quark
- Files from these applications should be supplied in the programs native file format
- Acceptable formats: PSD, EPS, AI, TIF, INDD, QXD, PDF and JPEG
- Compression settings may affect PDF and JPEG image quality
- Microsoft Applications: Additional Charges will apply to files supplied in these applications ($50.00 minimum conversion fee)
